posted an update We hit a quick morning session , so we could be home for lunch with the wives,🤣 , we were at Waterside Haven Resort. Our local dams close to Home.
We arrived around 7am , the banks were already full of anglers , advantage is we had a choice of 4 dams , myself and my buddy Rudolf went to the top dams and found a spot, quickly set up , made feed and got lines in the water.
As time went on we changed our bait every hour or so. The conditions seemed difficult in the dam we chose , as Anglers across us seem to have had bites in the dam next to us. I made one last change before we packed up, I found the smallest tiger nut I had and hooked it onto a size 2 hook and it worked perfectly, presentation was spot on , cast about 20m in front of me, where i saw some activity and 10mins later , Fish on !!!! Non the less a lekker chat a fish for the day. Nothing can beat being next the water.
